Both Ends | Reality of Mine

Ever imagined what it feels like to have your land taken away or your source of water polluted? These are the everyday realities of women affected by big infrastructure and mining projects in their communities. As part of Both Ends’ human rights and gender project, we made three films highlighting the stories of three women in Kenya, India and South Africa who are fighting for their land and resources.

In order to draw a broad audience, the film starts as a short teaser, giving a brief narrative of the story and is suitable to be shared on social media. The rest of the film delivers a content rich version which can be used on youtube, website and other communication channels. Text on screen is also used to give an additional layer of storytelling which is compelling and informative
