Creative internship at Makmende!
Are you interested in working on different international productions in Africa, Asia and Latin America? Are you passionate storyteller with creative visual flare? If yes – this creative internship is for you! Makmende Media is a dynamic impact communications agency ripe for developing your skills.
Who and what we’re looking for:
- Passionate storyteller (a natural curiosity for people and the stories behind what makes them tick).
- Confident & aspiring writer (interested in developing their scriptwriting skills).
- Familiarity and interest in researching impact topics related to SDGs (climate, gender, sustainability etc).
- A naturally creative thinker when it comes to ideas (for story angles/campaigns for clients etc).
- Visual thinker with experience in film and photography (keen to develop their skills in using imagery to communicate).
- Start date August 1st 2022 for a minimum of 5 months.
What you’d be up to on the day to day:
- Assisting the creative team in researching stories.
- Playing a fundamental role in curating and producing Makmende’s new social media platform – Makemyday.tv (Check us out!)
- Writing small bits of text for either scripts, research reports or social media posts.
- Spotting imagery and photography.
- Being part of idea generation and development in the Creative department.
